Yarn Bombing Manchester NH in July

Spread the word, we are going to yarn bomb Manchester NH during the CGoA and TKoA conference in July. This is a great way to use up scraps and for knit/cro groups and guilds.  To participate from near or far read on….

Join in on our Respectful Rebellion and Be a part of a YARN BOMB!

Yarn Bomb: A type of graffiti or street art that employs colorful displays of knitted or crocheted cloth, rather than paint or chalk. While yarn installations may last for years, they are considered non-permanent, and, unlike graffiti, can be easily removed if necessary. We invite you to join us in a yarn bomb of the Radisson Hotel and courtyard during the 2014 Knit & Crochet Show.

A few tips to help build the “Bomb”:

  • Knit and/or crochet an 8″ x 8″ square or 8″ x 16″ rectangle using
yarn of your choice!- great use for leftover yarn!
  • Bright colors are best
  • It doesn’t have to be perfect
  • BE CREATIVE!!
  • Send your swatches before June 15th

Not coming to the Knit & Crochet Show? THAT’S OKAY!
You can still participate in the YARN BOMBING from afar by mailing in your swatches to the follow address by June 15th. All swatches will be donated at the end of the conference for blankets and afghans.
