I was again amazed at the crochet designs that entered the CGOA (Crochet Guild of America) Design Competition this year at the conference in Manchester NH. Here are some pictures..
This is a design from Bonnie Barker of Bonnie Bay Crochet
Bonnie has a new Aran Crochet book coming in September, stay tuned for more when it’s available.
I just loved these curtains. I will use this as inspiration for our new place this fall.
I am not one for crochet toys but this guy caught my attention, the details and colors are so fun. Maybe because I grew up with Puff the Magic Dragon?
This is actually a shawl, I love the way it looks on. Designed by Jessie Rayot of http://jessieathome.com/
The grand prize winner is this tank. Dot Drake’s inspiration was a friend who passed from cancer and loved to cruise the Caribbean. This top is just magical in person. Find Dot on Ravelry here http://www.ravelry.com/designers/dot-drake
This wreath caught my eye too, with or without the nutcracker, I love it. this was designed by Deborah Bagley, find her here http://www.ravelry.com/designers/deborah-bagley
This piece is like jewelry, also designed by Jessie Rayot, what a wonderful accessory to any outfit.
