Oh Knee, Oh MY

Oh Knee, Oh my

Image result for hand ligaments

It’s been a little while since I posted here, it’s been a crazy few months.  My body is yelling at me to take care of it.  At the end of April I had meniscus surgery
on my right knee, no big deal.  Two weeks later, when I can finally go in pool to work my knee, I slipped and tore two ligaments in my left hand (I’m left handed). But, I do crochet right handed. This is my last week of Occupational (hand) Therapy so all seems good. I hope to get the final clearance on Friday.

I did introduce a new pattern to the I Hook Design pattern store.  If you missed the post read it here.
This pattern along with three others will be available as kits at the Oink Pigments booth 206 in the Marketplace at Chain Link conference.

As a member of the Board of Directors of the Crochet Guild of America things get crazy busy right before our Annual Chain Link conference.  This year it’s in Itasca (Chicago suburb) IL July 24-29, more here.

I will be launching a new pattern on Monday July 17th so stay tuned.  The pattern is a one skein Infinity scarf made with Berroco Yarns Boboli Lace and will be available as a kit at the Mosaic Yarn Studio booth 202 at the conference, stop by and take a look.  I will also be signing In A Weekend Baby Blankets there as well.  A couple of the blankets will be there to see.

Now, back to taking care of myself. Post conference I will be have arthroscopic shoulder (right) surgery before it becomes a rotator cuff issue…….I hope after my 55th birthday I will have a healthy body and be back on the bicycle again… Take Care
