A Tunisian in the Round Design
I’m excited to share that Cairns yarn from The Queensland Collection is the yarn I used in my newest pattern, The North Star Hat, which will be released next Tuesday, October 8th. What I liked about this yarn is the blend of colors and the tape construction, I’m not normally a fan of tape construction but this was so easy to work with. Cairns is a #4 medium weight which as you know is a very versatile weight to use for many things. It’s 60% cotton/40% acrylic so no wool is in this yarn. Notice how the colors blend and pop. The design next week uses only 1 skein of this yarn. I can see using Cairns for future designs like tote bags or those sling bags my nieces love.
