Felt So Good is the current book from Norwegian designer Tone Rorseth. Rorseth is a graduate of Beckmans College of Design in Stockholm, Sweden. She is known for her jewelry and accessories designs.
Felt So Good is a simple but beautifully done book. Tone guides the crafter through each step in the felting process then on to simple but wonderful designs The pictures are excellent and she included many templates that can be used to make the designs in the book.
My favorite thing about the projects in Felt So good is that they are so easy to make especially for last minute gifts. Many knitters and crocheters have made things and felted the fabric to make purses and accessories. With this book you can still do that or… you can buy commercial felt or buy wool sweaters in a thrift shop and felt it yourself. I like the idea of reusing, repurposing and recycling.
How cute are the cup cozies below..
My favorite project in Felt So Good is actually four projects from one wool sweater. This purse and mitts are made from the same felted sweater, I love these and will have to try it. ( I really tried to find a nice wool sweater in a Florida thrift shop but had no luck).
The garlands throughout the book are also sweet to dress up any window, fireplace or room.
Felt So Good is available through Amazon, Barnes and Noble to name a few.
