I am honored to review Crochet Wraps Every Which Way by Tammy Hildebrand. This book is well thought out and inlcudes 18 designs in 6 techniques. If you ever wanted to try Hairpin, Broomstick, Tunisian, Double-Ended, Join As You Go or Traditional techniques here is your chance.
For this review I chose to make “Waiting for Willow” which is a join as you go technique. I have to admit I have tried Jaygo in the past with not great success (I ripped out the whole thing), but making “Waiting for Willow” was a breeze and I finished it in a week, over the holidays. I used some yarn from my stash, which was Cascade Heritage 150 sock yarn so I adjusted my hook to a H 5.0 mm. I also used two colors and layed them out as a chevron, the chart included made this very easy.
I have seen pictures of Willow and she is just beautiful and getting big fast, I love that Tammy named one of her designs after her.

I love the tips included in the front of the book. In the back is visual and written instruction for each technique which is great for those who need to “see it”.
