This is the new yarn from Lion Brand, Heartland, purchased at http://www.joann.com/  A premium acrylic that is so soft and easy to work with, it is a worsted weight and has a slight tweedy look to the colors. I have chosen purple and a gold as these are the school colors locally and of my nieces and nephews in NJ.
