While at the CGOA conference in Concod, NC I purchased a skein of the new LB Collection silk from Lion Brand.  It is a dream to crochet with and the color vibrancy is all me.  I played around and made this cowl, notice I have procrastinated weaving in the ends. I can probably wear it here in FL in the winter, especially because its silk. 

I will say I do miss the cooler areas for wearing sweaters, cowls, wraps and ponchos….
